Experimental tests enhancement with the objective of diagnosing and determining necessary remediation alternatives for the treatment of existing materials in the unit, implementing new pilots with the application of Technosols. The following activities were carried out:
- Analysis and interpretation of the information from the existing geochemical tests in the unit;
- Design and execution of geochemical tests in barrels and cells with Technosole on the altered materials, with
combined applications of different effluents or mining waste; - Design and execution of geochemical tests with WST tailings water and PLT water, as a measure to minimise
mineralogical oxidation; - Microbiological risk assessment of the use of PLT waters and the reactive behaviour of the materials.
